A sprung organic disc against a chromoly flywheel, chosen over a puck disc so the car stays usable on the road. Clamp load is up 40% on stock with only a modest change in pedal weight. The flywheel is 3.1kg lighter than the dual-mass unit it replaces, which sharpens throttle response and will make the gearbox rattle slightly at idle — normal, not a fault.
